Pula at a glance
The Pula Arena is a Roman amphitheater from the 1st century. It is run by the Archaeological Museum of Istria, and the address is Flavijevska ulica. The outer walls are the part most people photograph first, and the inside is open to visitors with a ticket.
Two more Roman monuments stand in the old town: the Temple of Augustus at the forum and the Arch of the Sergii. Together with the arena they make an easy walking day. The arena and the temple charge admission, and the arch is free.
