Brijuni at a glance
Brijuni is a national park. Most visitors go on the guided tour of Veliki Brijun. The ticket covers the boat from Fažana and back, a guide, a ride on the tourist train, the safari park and the museum exhibitions.
Allow about 3.5 hours for the whole tour, of which the train ride takes about one hour. This guide is independent. Prices and times below are the figures published by the park for 2026. They are listed so that you can plan, and tickets are issued by the park.

How the regular tour works
The tour in the order you experience it.
Fažana: the ticket office and the boat
The boat leaves from Fažana. The park office for reduced tickets is at Brionska 10. Boat and opening times change with the season, so check the timetable for your date.
Veliki Brijun: the guided tour
On the island a guide leads the program. The tour includes a ride on the tourist train of about one hour, the safari park and the museum exhibitions.
Back to Fažana
The return boat is part of the ticket. Do not plan a tight connection afterward, because the whole tour takes about 3.5 hours.

Brijuni ticket prices in 2026
Each price is shown as low season, then high season. Low season runs from January 1 to May 31 and from October 1 to December 31. High season runs from June 1 to September 30. Prices include visitor insurance and VAT.
| Visitor | Guided tour (low / high) | Self-guided app tour (low / high) |
|---|---|---|
| Adult | €35 / €50 | €30 / €40 |
| Student or senior aged 65 and over | €30 / €40 | €25 / €30 |
| Child aged 7–18 | €15 / €20 | €13 / €15 |
| Child with a disability aged 7–18 | €12 / €13 | – |
| Adult with a disability, Croatian war veteran with proof | €15 / €20 | – |
| Child under 7 | Free | Free |
The self-guided app tour is a different program from the guided package with the train, so do not compare the two prices one to one. A dog ticket costs €15, with the exception of assistance dogs.
The autumn offer, October 23 to November 1, 2026
For this period the park announced a reduced price for the guided tour for individual guests: €17 for adults and €12 for children aged 7–18. It applies only in those dates and is not the regular price.
Outside the offer, the regular low-season price is €35 for adults. During the autumn promotion the park also mentions Hotel Istra and Neptun, with boat trips and park entry included in the stays it describes. Do not assume that this applies to every booking rate.

Buying tickets and groups
Individual guests are advised to buy in advance for the guided tour in their preferred language. Reduced tickets work differently. Reserve them by email and pay at the office at Brionska 10 in Fažana 30 minutes before departure.
Groups start at 25 people. For groups, the guided adult price is €30 in low season and €40 in high season. Group reservation is obligatory.
Mali Brijun has its own price list and is a separate visit. Do not mix it up with Veliki Brijun. A private boat trip around the islands is also not the same as a visit on land, because only the park tour includes the train, the safari park and the museums.
Dogs, accessibility and what to bring
Dogs must be on a leash on the island. They may not enter the train, the museums or the safari park, so the regular tour is not suited to everyone with a dog.
Bring water and sun protection. Wear shoes that suit walking on paths. Because boat and opening times change with the season, a single daily departure all year is not a safe assumption.

Getting to Fažana: the road closure
A section of the road at Fažana is closed from October 14, 2026 to January 13, 2027. It lies between the Paganorska junction and the built-up section before the Štinjan junction. Traffic toward Štinjan and Fažana is detoured via Vallelunga. The park published this notice on October 16, 2026.
Allow extra time for the drive, and check the latest notice before you leave. Our Pula page covers the airport shuttle and parking. For the airport and for other transfer options, see Pula Airport.
